Christmas!
Merry Christmas!!! We hope you have a day filled with love and joy.
I love music! I wish I could sing and not just be part of the joyful noise section. ;) I love to have dance parties and I love that songs can express any and all emotions that I am feeling. I thought I would share a few that have really impacted me this advent season in preparing my heart and refocusing me. It’s a good reminder that no matter what is happening in our lives, our families or the world: we can celebrate that God sent His Son so we would always have a friend, an advocate, a Savior and a King!
“God in Christ allows such poor, little creatures as you are to come to him, to love communion with him, and to maintain a communication of love with him. You may go to God and tell him you love him and open your heart and he will accept it…He is come down from heaven and has taken upon him the human nature in purpose, that he might be near to you and might be, as it were, your companion.”
~ Jonathan Edwards
“But the angel said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Christ the Lord. This is a sign to you: You will find the baby wrapped in cloths lying in a manger.’ Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.’” Luke 2:10-14
“I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” Psalm 34:4&5 (NLT)
Our healing comes when we face our pain and walk through it. Every single person Jesus healed reached out to Him: the lady with the issue of blood, the leper, the lame man, the blind man…you get the idea. He stopped what He was doing to meet them where they were. All we have to do is reach out and Jesus will meet us. What is your need? Will you reach out to the One who can free you? That is why He came to earth.
May the King of Kings, who loves you, bring comfort, joy and peace today and all your tomorrows. He holds each of us in His heart and hands.
We pray you have an amazing day!!
All Our Love ~
