That impacted me because sometimes I get bored with the mundane, everydayness of life and would like to spice it up a bit. But what is in my hands to serve God today? What’s in yours?

They did not accomplish those things because they were good people or had a mantra of affirmations they said to themselves every day before they walked out the door.

When we are in sync with God we will pause when He pauses, when He runs, we run. When we intertwine our lives with God, we will renew our strength. We are not alone.

We do not trip and fall into being with Jesus. We may need to find our “boat” that takes us to a quiet place so we can be with Jesus to learn from Him and become like Him!

When we yell “Marco” we hear God yell “Polo” from behind us.
We find out that He’s been there all along. He never left us.
He is fighting for us! He will defeat that army.

The reset happens when we acknowledge where we’re at, what we’re feeling and allow God to meet us and heal us there.

We can wake up or have a random thought in the middle of our day that is negative, combative, oppressive, depressing,

I am in awe every day when I read the Bible, that God would write down His Words and heart for me to get to know Him.

Jesus shined His Light into my life and changed the landscape of my world.

There is freedom on this side of trust. There is freedom on this side of knowing that God is good. That He always has been good and He will always be good and nothing I go through will change His goodness!

When we change our thinking, we change our lives.

The trickling of unchecked mindsets and thoughts that allows shame, disgrace, fear, doubt (etc) will erode the foundation of who we are in God.

We are seen by a Savior who has faced everything we have or will. We have a Savior who fights for us. We have a Savior who walks with us. We have a Savior who loves us.

May we not miss this Jesus!

Yes, it is a wondrous miracle and Jairus is overcome with emotion as he hears the tender way Jesus speaks to her. Maybe Jairus does a little toe-tapping. Then a family friend comes to Jairus and tells him there is no point in bringing Jesus because his daughter, the light of his life for 12 years, is dead.

Jesus invited the twelve and now invites us to hang out with Him and learn how to live like Him.

Maybe you need to hear that today. Maybe you need to know that your Savior is not dead. He is risen and powerful and we don’t have to be afraid.

Jesus covers all of it. I am clean. I can go to Him with all my mess and His blood has covered me. I’m so overwhelmed and grateful for Him, His love and His sacrifice for me. Can someone get me a tissue?

When Jesus lived here on earth, His life was a light into the world’s darkness.

I think about the Shepherds in the middle of the night. Darkness and quiet surrounding them when the night was lit with the light of heaven and angels singing.
